Twisted Truths to Modern Dressage: A Search for a Classical Alternative by Philippe Karl. In his latest book, Philippe Karl, one of the most outspoken critics of the modern Dressage world, reveals some disturbing facts about the physical, anatomical and mental effects on the horse resulting from the official dressage guidelines as issued by the German Equestrian Federation (FN). By comparing these with philosophies of masters of classical riding such as François Robichon de la Guérinière and François Baucher, Philippe Karl shows possible solutions to the challenging situation of modern competitive dressage.

Law of Attraction by Michael J Losier. You may not be aware of it, but a very powerful force is at work in your life. It is called the Law of Attraction and right now it is attracting people, jobs, situations and relationships in your life ~ not all of them good! If your life feels as if it has turned south and taken on the characteristics of a bad soap opera, it is time to pick up this book.

The Power of Nice: How to Conquer the World with Kindness by Linda Kaplan Thaler and Robin Koval. We all have the ability to make people feel like the most important person in the world. We just have to give them our complete attention and to see ourselves in their eyes. For all the time we spend obsessing in the mirror – about our hair, our thighs, our wrinkles – it's amazing how little time many people spend thinking about how they really look to others. Excerpt from the book.

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. To make the journey into The Power of Now we will need to leave our analytical mind and its false created self, the ego, behind. From the beginning of the first chapter we move rapidly into a significantly higher altitude where one breathes a lighter air, the air of the spiritual. Although the journey is challenging, Eckhart Tolle offers simple language and a question and answer format to guide us. The words themselves are the signposts.

The Shack (where tragedy confronts eternity) by William P Young. Mackenzie Allen Philips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change Mack's world forever.

Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch. Conversations with God discusses personal issues such as prosperity, relationships and the nature of spiritual truth-with God providing clear, understandable answers. Conversations with God suggests a social, sexual, educational, political, economic and theological revolution ~ a personal paradigm shift that in turn will transform the world. Conversations with God expands upon universal issues such as the nature of the soul, space and time, and highly evolved societies.

Philippe Karl Classical Dressage DVD Series

Classical Dressage Schooling Series by Philippe Karl. A schooling series of four DVDs produced by Thomas Vogel of Pferdia TV. Philippe Karl's philosophy of Légèreté (lightness) was inspired by riding masters such as François Robichon de la Guérinière, François Baucher, Captain Etienne Beudant and General Alexis François L'Hotte. It is founded on the absolute respect of the horse. Philippe Karl's personal training scale of Légèreté shows a logical and practical way of schooling horses systematically and without force or constraining instruments (such as side reins and running reins). The DVD series Classical Dressage opens new horizons within the actual Dressage world and demonstrates how misjudged and misunderstood the most brilliant ancient masters are today.

Pay it Forward produced by Warner Bros, written by Catherine Ryan Hyne. The premise of "Pay It Forward" is one that any person can implement in his or her own life, at any time. It begins with doing a favour for another person without any expectation of being paid back. Indeed one would request that the recipient of that favour do the same for someone else, ideally, for three other people. The unconditional favours can be large or small. As twelve year old Trevor observes in the novel/movie:  it doesn't have to be a big thing. It can just seem that way, depending on whom you do it for. The Pay it Forward Foundation was established in September, 2000 by author Catherine Ryan Hyde and others to educate and inspire people to realise that they can change the world.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. The Secret reveals the most powerful law in the universe. The knowledge of this law has run like a golden thread through the lives and the teachings of all the prophets, seers, sages and saviors in the world's history, and through the lives of all truly great men and women. All that they have ever accomplished or attained has been done in full accordance with this most powerful law. Without exception, every human being has the ability to transform any weakness or suffering into strength, power, perfect peace, health, and abundance.
