Caren Robinson with Wyndyarra Rembrandt. Caren Robinson emigrated to Australia from Zimbabwe in 2005. She has ridden all her life but started to train seriously for competition in 1984. Caren has ridden in Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) Samsung competitions (now known as FEI World Dressage Challenge) and has been a Zimbabwe team member up to Prix St George level, attaining Colours for her country in 1997.
Caren has been very lucky to receive a mosaic of trainers over the years, who came to Zimbabwe regularly from Europe. She also travelled to the United Kingdom to train at Arrow Equestrian, which she loved and set her up with the confidence to go out and teach. In her last outing before leaving Zimbabwe, she was able to compete one last time on her own horses ~ Beaufort Beat into first place for her country at FEI Advanced level and her young horse, Coral Eclipse into third place at FEI Novice level.
Although Caren misses her two lovely horses, she still feels a wonderful thrill just having moments with Wyndyarra Rembrandt (George), who teaches her everyday never to take anything for granted and still has so much to learn from every horse she meets. George is a seven year old, Andalusian x Percheron gelding. He is gentle and loves his food and creeps into your heart.
"If you have time to listen they will teach you so much." Caren Robinson.

How were you introduced to Philippe Karl's methods? From the past masters opening my eyes and now finding one who I can commit to.
What do you hope to gain out of Philippe Karl's Teachers Clinic? I hope to gain growth and knowledge, making the dance with my horse last longer.
What is your dream? As a rider my dream is to obtain the quality to train a horse. My dream for my horses is for them to be light, free moving in all gaits and nice to ride. My dream is on-going, not just to ride up to a level but to keep the goal ahead of me to the end and hope I have the time to reach that all-beautiful, trained horse and rider as one. Elusive to most I think!!!
"If I have always worked honestly, my horse will carry me to the end of the world." Ernst Friedrich Seidler.
