Jackie Wilson with Yetar Springs Julius. Jackie Wilson has ridden horses since she could walk and has been riding Dressage for ten years. After completing University, she and Jay both moved to Sydney, New South Wales to live, work and train with Edgar Lichtwark (1951-2006), with whom she trained with for over seven years. In 2008, she spent a year travelling through America, England and Germany, working and training in various Dressage barns.

Yetar Springs Julius (Jay) is almost fourteen years old. He is a Holsteiner that Jackie has been riding since he was four years old. He has competed successfully in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland up to Intermediare I. Jay is a very willing horse, a bit pushy and can be slightly lazy! His natural Dressage talent is flying changes.

How were you introduced to Philippe Karl's methods? My mum (who is an avid reader) decided she would read Philippe Karl's book, Twisted Truths of Modern Dressage. She then found out that Nicole Weinauge was coaching in Australia so encouraged me to go along and find out more with our four year old Warmblood, Cosi.

What do you hope to gain out of Philippe Karl's Teachers Clinic? I am very excited to be taking Jay, who I've spent many years training up to FEI level. I am looking forward to seeing how our training is progressing with Philippe Karl and hopefully to work on piaffe and passage.

What is your dream? My dream is to train and compete many horses to Grand Prix.
